About Writing for Money

Writing for Money is an online journal dedicated to helping freelancers make more money at their trade and have a more enjoyable, fulfilling life as writers.

The journal, which started out several years ago as a print publication, was switched to its current electronic format to allow the publisher to provide freelancers with the most up-to-date information possible. The “Who’s Buying What” section offers new listings on a frequent basis (at least once per week, sometimes daily). New articles are added frequently (and yes, we do buy some submissions from subscribers). Past articles are available in the WfM archives, which are open to the public free of charge. “Who’s Buying What” (listings of writing opportunities in magazines, books, commercial and technical writing, newspapers, greeting card companies, film, video, stage, etc.), available to WfM subscribers only, can be accessed either by a keyword search or by scrolling through the database.
